Context & Challenge
The World Economic Forum is a fast-paced, high-profile environment with multiple parallel sessions, interviews, and live events occurring simultaneously. Infosys required comprehensive video coverage that could be edited on-site and distributed in multiple formats, including landscape, square, and portrait, to meet the demands of social media, internal communications, and external reporting.
Key challenges included:
- Capturing multiple sessions daily with consistent quality using two-camera setups.
- Delivering same-day edited content for immediate sharing.
- Producing a range of outputs, from social-media-optimised clips to full-length highlights films, across multiple aspect ratios.
- Maintaining high production values while working in a dynamic, fast-moving event environment.
Production Delivery
We had a dedicated team on-site to capture and edit content in real time. Deliverables included:
- Two daily session recordings captured with two cameras and delivered same-day.
- Five end-of-day sizzle films, covering Day -1, Day 0, and Show Days 1–3, optimised for 1:1 square and 9:16 portrait formats.
- 37 standalone interview clips, tailored for social media in square and portrait formats.
- Walk-around social video of the event space in 9:16 portrait format.
- Overall highlights film, integrating interviews and key event moments in 16:9 landscape format.
- Fast-turnaround photography for instant social media posts and internal communications.
By producing content on-site, we ensured Infosys could distribute updates in real time, keeping their global audience engaged throughout the forum.
