We were honoured to be contracted by STEM Learning to support the Protecting Our Planet event. This inspiring live-streamed event for schools was brought to life by the UK Space Education Office (ESERO-UK) at STEM Learning, in collaboration with the European Space Agency and the UK Space Agency. Taking place at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, we supported STEM with the technical production and hybrid production elements. This event was a very exciting project for our team, allowing us to showcase our expertise. For this event, we set up multiple multi-camera studios throughout the venue, enabling presenters to seamlessly transition between different thematic locations, including the Ice Room to focus on the importance of protection our ice and oceans, and the Forest Area to discuss safeguarding our forests and ecosystems. The event reached hundreds of thousands of viewers who accessed a custom event microsite we created specifically for this occasion: POP 2023 Live. The key interactive features included Q&A so the schools could participate in asking the live presenters questions. Remote contributions from presenters around the globe, with a segment broadcasted live directly from COP28 in Dubai., and video play-outs of pre-recorded videos.
